The MIS
The TAS system is based on Microsoft ASP.NET technologies
- Visual Studio 2005 in C#ASP.Net language – the newest technology for the development of Internet systems that enables high abilities such as rapid developments of systems with the highest levels of security.
- Microsoft SQL 2005 based database.
- Microsoft Reporting Services 2005 reports generator – for regular reports, and sophisticated analytical reports.
- Extensive use of XML, Ajax, SMTP, Web Services technologies and others, for software interfaces to the organization systems – such as the HR systems, finances, ERP, and other internal systems (organizational Portal, Outlook, etc) and the interfaces to tourism factors such as travel agent systems,, global and local distribution systems (GDS and LDS).
- Internet platform (WEB) – enabling rapid distribution of the software to end users, performance of software updates, and prevents problems of compatibility (in companies with thousands of users, the issue of distribution and compatibility is critical, and constitutes an important part in the decision making process of software purchases).
- User friendly interface – the system is designed in the familiar structure of the Outlook programs. This together with the fact that the interface operates according to Internet standards, makes the learning time, the training, the assimilation and the faults minimal.
- The system accompanies the whole process by appropriate emails, so that the employees are updated as to the status of their bookings at all times, even when they are not connected to the system.
- The system supports cellular text messages.
- The system is secure: use of the system is identified by a user name and a password defined according to the company authorizations.

| With the U.S. General Services Administration putting such integrated systems in place in 2007, end-to-end no longer is merely conceptual and some see it as a model for corporate travel programs that operate in a shared services model. |
